You and I (Ingrid Michaelson cover) - Knock Knock, It’s Elephants
This is what you do if you have young kids at home, especially when they are so obsessed with a song that you’re worried they might never ever get it out of their system: you learn it on guitar and then record it with them and let them choose a band name (Knock Knock It’s Elephants is what Madeline’s 5 year old brain came up with) and put it on your iTunes like a “real” song and then let them push play on the computer and tell them that they are now real rock stars. And then you feel glad that you made their day.
(Elliott got shy and decided not to sing at the last minute, but he was the best audience member ever instead.)
This is just about the most adorable thing I’ve ever listened to.
